Favorite Proof of the Pudding Dish:Shrimp & Grits with Tasso Gravy is great anytime of day! Any fresh fish at Bonito Boathouse, especially with chipotle-citrus barbecue sauce and fresh salsa!
At home I like to cook:I've been doing a lot of smoked meats in my indoor pressure smoker. I also enjoy experimenting with different spices like maresh pepper, round mint, urfa pepper and yi du chili threads. Whatever is fresh and in season inspires me.
For fun:I enjoy spending time with my fiancee, Liz. Whatever we do is fun for me, whether it's going to new restaurants or just hanging out at home.
Must see site or location:I love Waterfront Park in Beaufort's historic downtown. Great restaurants with spectacular views.
Most memorable event:The fundraiser at Fripp Island for the Wounded Warriors of 9/11 might not have been the most fancy event, but the cause of the event and the huge attendance of so many injured veterans made a profound impact on everyone.
