POP: Good morning Barbara! We appreciate you taking time to chat with us today. For starters, what’s the one piece of advice you would share with others at the beginning of their career?
BARBARA: “Be who you and say what you feel; because those that mind – don’t matter, and those who matter – don’t mind.” ~Dr. Seuss
POP: What values have shaped your life?
BARBARA: Family, faith, hard work and loyalty.
POP: What was your favorite meal as a kid growing up?
BARBARA: Chicken nuggets with mac & cheese.
POP: Who has influenced you the most (in life and/or your career)?
BARBARA: My past HR Manager at the Greensboro Coliseum, Patricia Veal. I would not be who I am today, professionally and personally without her guidance over the past eight years.
POP: What is your favorite song lyric or inspirational quote?
BARBARA: “…know that suffering produces perseverance; perseverance, character; and character, hope.”
POP: What are some things that people would be surprised to learn about you?
BARBARA: My feet are two different sizes. When I played basketball/sports in my high school life, I had to buy two different pairs of shoes.
