KRISTA LAMBRECHT
Account Executive

POP:  Good morning Krista! Thanks for chatting with us today. To start, what advice would you share with others at the beginning of their career?
KRISTA:  A few thoughts on this:
Find a company that supports your present and future self.
Think before you speak.
Surround yourself with people smarter than you and absorb what you can from them.
Don’t be afraid to make changes if you are unhappy – you’re never too old to start something new!

POP:  What values have shaped your life?
KRISTA:  The importance of hard work has been instilled in me by my parents since infancy. If I’m ever tempted to cut a corner, I whisper my life mantra to myself, “Don’t be lazy.” Other values that reign supreme are the power of teamwork, realistic optimism, and the value of adventure.

POP:  What was your favorite meal as a kid growing up?
KRISTA:  Hamburgers, but now with my growing age I have matured into eating cheeseburgers.

POP:  Who has influenced you the most (in life and/or your career)?
KRISTA:  My college mentor, Shelly. I worked with her in the non-profit sector immediately after college and I still volunteer for her organization today. She has taught me to embrace every day as a gift, the value of giving back to your community, and how to have a healthy work/life balance.

POP:  What is your favorite inspirational quote or lyric?
KRISTA:  “I am ready to face any challenge that might be foolish enough to face me.” – Dwight K. Shrute III, The Office

POP:  What are some things that people would be surprised to learn about you?
KRISTA:  I couldn’t whistle until I was 24.
I can play Avril Lavigne’s “Sk8er Boi” on the trumpet.
Pugs are my favorite dog breed – my first pug, Daisy, lived for 17 years.
During quarantine I started writing children’s books – one involving a fashionista alligator and the other is a children’s cookbook!
