POP: We’re thrilled to have this chat Libby! Share, what is one piece of advice you would give others at the beginning of their career?
LIBBY: Be passionate and enjoy what you do.
POP: What values have shaped your life?
LIBBY: Honesty, integrity and an attitude of gratitude.
POP: What was your favorite meal as a kid growing up?
LIBBY: As a young child I really liked kid’s TV dinners called Libbyland because they were named after me. I felt so special. They were popular in the 1970’s. (LOL, I am telling my age) Later as I grew up my tastes changed and it was my Mom’s spaghetti.
POP: Who has influenced you the most?
LIBBY: My father, Harry A. Taylor. He had a strong Christian faith.
POP: What is your favorite song lyric or inspirational quote?
LIBBY: I love this inspirational quote: “Be kind to everyone you meet because you have no idea what’s going on in their lives and you might just be the answer to their prayers that God has sent.”
POP: What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
LIBBY: My real name is Elizabeth Taylor (I go by the nickname Libby). My last name is now MacConaugha, pronounced like Matthew McConaughey. So my legal name is Elizabeth Taylor MacConaugha – 2 famous movie stars – LOL!
