POP:  Hi Victoria, thanks so much for taking time right before the Thanksgiving holiday to chat with us – we’re excited to learn a little more about you! To start, share the advice you would share with others at the beginning of their career?
VICTORIA:  Work with people who nourish you. Also study the lives of the successful people. You’re going to make mistakes, you’re not supposed to have it all figured out. It’s the mistakes and/or bad decisions that shape you and mold you. Never give up. Stand up straight, hold your head high, and KEEP MOVING FORWARD.

POP:  What values have shaped your life?
VICTORIA:  Patience, kindness, gentleness, courage, integrity, appreciation, listening, respect, honor, and LOVE.

POP:  What was your favorite meal as a kid growing up?
VICTORIA:  Smothered pork chops, extra gravy, mac and cheese, collard greens, and corn bread!

POP:  Who has influenced you the most (in life and/or your career)?
VICTORIA:  My great grandmother, Ruby Mae Walker.

POP:  What is your favorite song lyric or inspirational quote?
VICTORIA:  I have sooo many…

POP:  What are some things that people would be surprised to learn about you?
VICTORIA:  When I was 13, I won the “Porsha Fox Idol” Contest on V103 out of 182 people and I sang onstage during a “mini concert” in Underground Atlanta. The celebration was for Porsha Fox’s (radio personality at that time) 6th anniversary with V103.
