Chef Jenn's Portuguese Biscoitos
Ingredients
- 3 cups flour
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 3/4 cup butter, melted
- 3 large eggs
- 1 cup sugar
Instructions
- Melt butter and put aside to cool
- Whisk eggs and sugar together in large bowl
- Slowly add flour and baking powder to egg mixture
- Slowly add melted butter and knead
- Let sit for 20 minutes so dough can rest
- Flour work surface and shape dough into small balls (about the size of a golf ball)
- Roll dough with palms to form rings, approximately 2 inches
- Place formed dough rings on lightly greased cookie sheet
- Bake for 15 minutes, until light golden brown
