POP: Thanks for sharing with us this morning a little about your self Jamie! To start, what is the one piece of advice you would share with others at the beginning of their career?
JAMIE: First you should love what you do and always strive to do better than you did yesterday! Learn how to take constructive criticism from your colleagues and others, it will help you master your profession in such ways you will not know.
POP: What values have shaped your life?
JAMIE: Being honest with yourself and others. Have respect for yourself and others. And having faith in whatever you do in life will get you a long way!
POP: What was your favorite meal as a kid growing up?
JAMIE: Oxtails, red beans and rice with green cabbage and cornbread. Mmmm, delicious!
POP: Who has influenced you in life?
JAMIE: My parents have influenced me the most in my life. They taught me about the morals of life, respect, priorities and the most important advice they gave me was “never give up and always believe in yourself.” I don’t know where I would be without my parents. Thanks Mom and Dad!
POP: What is your favorite song lyric or inspirational quote?
JAMIE: “Never make someone a priority when all you are to them is an option.” – Maya Angelou
POP: What is one thing people would be surprised to learn about you?
JAMIE: I am a great song writer and producer.
